Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law

The detention and deportation of persons without real due process in America is illegal and immoral. The deportation of people to countries from which they have not come or have no ties doubles the moral liability accrued. Guilt is not a crowd sentence in America. There is no such thing as a “high percentage of guilty” or a sufficiently high ratio of “guilty to innocent” people being punished. America is founded on the rights of the individual. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was crafted in part by America. The Constitution and the Declaration have designated the living human being is the legal center of our tradition as a society and nation and world. This government has slashed through to the heart of the American Dream and is violating a global commitment to justice and humanity. This writer will not accept being accused of being ashamed of the United States, but yes, this treatment of immigrants by this Un-American government is globally shameful. I have faith that just about any other government seated by American citizens would and will end this cruel practice and begin atonement to the world. 

Urgent Suggestion for Good

Since the US Supreme Court seems content to hear and see no evil we must drop these issues into first place in these upcoming elections. We cannot sanction government sponsored civil disobedience or crimes against humanity. That would be good.
